Job Description Position Overview:
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of a construction project.
This individual will be responsible for managing the crew, managing vendors, and coordinating with other departments.
The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, project management, and quality control.
This position is a for a working superintendent.
Must be willing to able to perform construction tasks such as minor plumbing, minor electric, and repairs.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are met Lead the construction project from start to finish by overseeing all phases of the project including design, construction, installation and operation Leadership skills required - ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team to success Ability to read drawings and specifications - ability to interpret plans and construction blueprints Manage construction projects from start to finish by following safety guidelines and quality standards Communicate with clients on progress, quality of work, issues, etc.
Work with vendors on pricing quotes, scheduling jobs etc.
Manage subcontractors and contractors in a professional manner while ensuring quality standards are met Ability to read blueprints, understand specifications etc.
