Schedule:
4 10 hour shifts with rotating Saturday hours.
The hospital is open Monday - Saturday 7:
30 am to 5:
30 pm.
No overnights or Sunday shifts.
Requirements:
1-year minimum working in a veterinary related setting or schooling Ability safely lift 50
pound with assistance Ability to communicate with others effectively and clearly Passion for preserving the human-animal bond Ability to work well under pressure Attention to detail Responsibilities included (but are not limited to):
Act as an advocate for the patients and communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members Understand proper animal care, handling techniques and medical terminology Perform blood draws, set catheters, run in house laboratory tests, obtain vitals, position for radiographs, restrain animals Proper phone etiquette for scheduling appointments, checking on patients and answering the phone when needed Maintain a clean and safe environment, follow OSHA, AAHA & CFP guidelines Benefits (after allotted time):
